Vita

Ward Rupture can shatter pre-conceived notions about your SIZE 1 Followers. This Spell, if used correctly, can increase your Follower’s ATK and STA dramatically. If there is a Vita Follower in Slot 3, its ATK and STA are raised by the difference between its SIZE and the SIZE of an enemy Follower in Slot 3. Notice the SIZE 1 Follower, Cook Club Student in Slot 3 and the SIZE 5 Follower, Crescent Kris Flina in Slot 3 of the enemy Field. The difference between their SIZE is 4. In this situation, Ward Rupture will give Cook Club Student +4 ATK/STA.

After a double dose of “Ward Ruptures, Cook Club Student is now at a deadly 11/0/15. Remember to pay attention to your enemy’s Slot 3 card and make sure to use Ward Rupture to its full effect!

Academy

Mop Maid can help you create an efficient clean-up crew to scrub the enemy Field spotless. Before she is attacked, she and adjacent Followers get ATK +1. In the example above, she’s been placed in Slot 2, with Tailor Maid in Slot 1 and New Maid in Slot 3. Whenever you play Mop Maid, make sure you place her where she can be surrounded by other Followers in order to take full advantage of her skill.

After a few exchanges, your Followers’ ATK will overwhelm the enemy. Use Mop Maid effectively and sweep your opponent into the trash.

Crux

Frett might not be a great fighter herself, but as long as she waves the Crux banner, she’s an inspiring figure. Before she attacks, a Follower in Slot 3 gets ATK +1 and STA +1. Crux Knight Pintail, on the other hand, raises her own ATK and DEF each time she is attacked by a Follower with a lower SIZE. Crux Knight Pintail in Slot 3 will gain +1 ATK/STA every time Flag Knight Frett attacks. Make sure Slot 3 is filled to make the best use of Flag Knight Frett.

Even if Flag Knight Frett falls in combat, you are still left with a powerful Slot 3 Follower. Crux Knight Pintail in this case will continue to increase her own ATK/DEF when attacked by enemy Followers of smaller SIZE, becoming a serious threat to your opponent.

Darklore

Vampires take from others and give to themselves, and “Vampiric Rites” works the same way. This card drains the SIZE, ATK, and STA from all allied Followers on the Field and gives them to the Darklore Follower with the lowest SIZE. “Vampiric Rites” does not drain past 1, including SIZE, so when draining from a SIZE 1 Follower, only ATK/STA will be taken. This means the Darklore Follower gets all of the benefit with none of the drawback.

Your now-monstrous Darklore Follower will definitely be giving your opponent a tough time! When playing Vampiric Rites, make sure your Follower with the lowest SIZE Follower has a high DEF, and try to play other Followers with high ATK/STA for the best results!
