Kings of Chaos is a massively multiplayer
online role-playing game (MMORPG). Players initially choose their preferred
race---Humans, Dwarves, Orcs, Undead, and Elves. Each race has its own bonus.
Humans gain more income. Dwarves defend better. Orcs attack stronger. Elves spy
more stealthily. And the Undead guard better against reconnaissance and
sabotage.
INCOME AND
ATTACK TURNS
Players get stronger in terms of two primary things:
(1) income, and (2) attack turns. Income (or gold) comes every 30 minutes, the
same time it takes to get 1 attack turn. The size of a player's income is
determined by the number of soldiers he has. The bigger the fighting force, the
higher the income will be. On the other hand, attack turns are spent on striking
and defeating enemies in order to steal their gold. Both income and attack turns
can give players a suitable amount of gold, depending on several factors, which
they can spend to buy weapons. The bottom line is that the more gold you have,
the more (or better) weapons you'll be able to purchase, and the better chances
you have of gaining the upper hand.
INCREASING
SOLDIERS
Increasing a player's soldiers can be achieved in two
ways: (1) through the recruiter and (2) through the unit production upgrades.
The recruiter is a tool where players click on their recruit links and those of
others, thereby increasing morale. The higher the morale, the more soldiers the
player will expect in return. Conversely, the more links clicked, the more
soldiers will be received in the process. In short, morale is equivalent to the
total number of click credits. There are two types of recruiters. The first is
the in-game recruiter accessible via the "recruit" link on the left side of the
KoC page. The second type are recruiters created by other KoC players. It is a
system that works just like the in-game recruiter. Unit Production upgrades can
be accessed through the "training" link located in the left side of the KoC
page. Every upgrade determines how many soldiers a player will receive every 24
hours. The higher the upgrade cost, the more soldiers will be regularly
received. The maximum unit production upgrade is 640 soldiers every 24 hours.
The minimum is 0.
WEAPONS
Weapons in Kings of Chaos can be generally
classified into four types: (1) Attack, (2) Defense, (3) Spy, and (4) Sentry.
All of these weapon types have their own respective weapon kinds. The pricier
the weapon, the stronger the weapon will be and the more points the player will
receive for the corresponding action. Apparently, attack weapons are used to
make offense or strike the enemy. Defensive weapons are activated whenever an
enemy attacks the defending player. Attack weapons are not used when defending
an attacking enemy. Similarly, defense weapons are not used by soldiers when the
player initiates the attack on another player.
Spy weapons or tools are
used by spies when making covert reconnaissance operations or sabotaging the
weapons of an enemy. The more and better spy tools, the more chances a player
has in seeing the enemies' gold in the battlefield. On the other hand, sentry
tools are used by sentries in order to defend against spies. Sentry tools enable
a player to hide his gold from the enemy in the battlefield. These tools, when
held by sentries, also serve to protect the player from enemy sabotage
attempts.
