    we're happy to inform you that we rolled out a new version today that includes a number of cool enhancements:
     

    - completely overhauled mission system with many new and improved missions
    - new NPCs, such as the Mantis Scientist
    - two new planets
    - improved visual effects, including realtime shadows
    - streamlined PvP funtionality
    - enhanced help & support ticket system
    - ships are faster and more responsive. Also a change to network protocol has been made, eliminating latency problems and reducing network traffic substantially.
